F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is not just a show; it is still our solace after a bad day. For many years, it has been a part of our lazy weekend plans. It was a show that talked about our insecurities. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Friends is our security blanket. Dipped in nostalgia, we millennials still bond over the show.

Even though Friends aired before some of us were even born, the sheer connect makes us watch it over and over again. From ROFL moments to making us cry, every episode of Friends brings a plethora of emotions. After 17 years, Ross, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, Monica and Phoebe will take you down the memory lane with a much-awaited Friends reunion episode titled ‘The One Where They Get Back Together’. The unscripted episode will also feature celebrities such as David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai among others.

The special episode will air on HBOMax in US and Zee5 in India on May 27 and we have an idea how you can prep for it. Grab a bowl of popcorn and binge-watch some of the popular episodes. Here are seven of our favourites:

The One Where No One’s Ready (Season 3, Episode 2)

The episode focuses on Ross, who is irritated, as his friends are taking too long to get ready for an evening event at a museum.  A lot of chaos takes place only adding to Ross’s stress. However, all’s well that ends well.

Could he BE wearing any more clothes?

The One Where Ross and Rachel Take a Break (Season 3, Episode 15)

In this episode, Ross and Rachel fight over anniversary celebration that escalates so much that she asks Ross to “take a break … a break from us”. Can’t see our favourite couple part ways! (Sobbing in the corner). But thankfully lobsters have a way of finding their way back to each other.

Heartbreak!

The One with the Embryos (Season 4, Episode 12)

A favorite of many this episode could have been also titled ‘The one with the quiz’. This episode also revolves around Phoebe agreeing to become a surrogate mother for her brother. Interestingly, Lisa Kudrow was pregnant at the time, hence, producers were looking for a way to fit it into the narrative. And, how beautifully it has been done! Also, guess what, the reunion trailer gives us a glimpse of this episode.

Ms. Chanandler Bong

The One Where Everybody Finds Out (Season 5, Episode 14)

In this episode, Phoebe comes to know that Monica and Chandler are secretly dating. Hence, to make them confess, she and Rachel try different tricks. Phoebe even pretends to flirt with Chandler. At the end of the episode, Chandler and Monica confess that they are in love with each other.

Her eyes, her EYES!!

The One Where They All Turn Thirty (Season 7, Episode 14)

This is another interesting episode that shows Rachel fretting over her 30th birthday celebration, prompting everyone to contemplate about their 30th birthday. Rachel stresses herself thinking that everyone is too ahead and accomplished than her. Isn’t it quite relatable?

Joey has a deal, he is still 30!

The One with the Rumor (Season 8, Episode 9)

This episode features Anniston’s then real-life husband Brad Pitt as Will Colbert. He plays a school friend of Monica and Ross. Monica invites him for Thanksgiving dinner, however, she has no idea that Will is not fond of Rachel so much so that he along with Ross had spread a nasty rumour about Rachel. Bring on the yams!

Phoebe is still waiting for Will to take off his shirt and give her a hug

The One with Ross’s Tan (Season 10, Episode 3)

In this episode, Ross, who is jealous of Monica’ tan on her legs, goes to the studio to get one for himself. However, he fails to understand instructions, which leads to disastrous results. Meanwhile, friends-turned-lovers Joey and Rachel break up amicably after understanding that nothing is possible for them beyond friendship.  Sigh of relief!

Ross’s version of Ebony and Ivory
