Lord Krishna or Kanha as we fondly address him is known for his playful mischiefs and his love for butter, milk and sweets. This Janmastami, we at Ootkal are making the delicious Odia style Chaula Khiri (Rice Pudding) for our beloved Makhanchor. Khiri is an integral part of every Odia household and special festivals like these are incomplete without the aromatic khiri being prepared in our kitchens. Happy Janmastami!
