Pentagon’s UFO Unit To Release Findings On “Off-World Vehicles Not Made On This Earth”
The United States’ secretive UFO unit based out of Pentagon is set to release some of its findings on some alien objects, such as items retrieved from “off-world vehicles not made on this Earth”, The New York Times said in its report.
According to the American newspaper, one consultant to the unit has informed the US Defense Department officials of these alien discoveries. While Pentagon claims that the mentioned UFO office has been disbanded, the NYT report says that the organisation’s name and location have been changed to maintain secrecy.
A US Senate committee report has suggested that the UFO office is expected to share its findings with the public every six months.
The unit’s main objective is not only to look for alien spaceships but also keeping an eye on the sky much closer to earth. The body is also responsible for tracking other activities such as military actions of the rival nations.
The Times report quoted former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) as saying: “After looking into this, I came to the conclusion that there were reports — some were substantive, some not so substantive — that there were actual materials that the government and the private sector had in their possession”.
