Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot might be under tremendous pressure to avoid a government collapse but his party MLAs are having a good time at a luxury stay, with yoga, films and cooking classes arranged for all of them.

It looks like all calm before the storm as a crucial court hearing on Tuesday will decide the fate of the Rajasthan government, its former deputy CM Sachin Pilot and 18 Congress MLAs, who can be disqualified by the Assembly Speaker.

MLA’s in Yoga session

In visuals broadcasted by NDTV, the MLAs at the Fairmont resort in Jaipur can be seen doing yoga in casual t-shirts and pants, though with no masks to prevent the COVID-19 spread.

In another sequence of the video, the MLAs can be seen learning new recipes by an executive chef of the five-star hotel. The MLAs told NDTV that they have learnt how to make pizza, pasta and butter paneer.

On Friday evening, the 1960 film “Mughal-e-Azam” was screened for the MLAs at the Fairmont resort.

Earlier, Sachin Pilot decided to revolt against Gehlot with 18 MLAs that have been served notices of “anti-party activities” by the Congress. The rebel MLAs have been given time till Tuesday by the Rajasthan High Court to respond to disqualification notices. All of them are staying in two resorts in Manesar.
