Odisha’s total tally of coronavirus cases reached 7065 after 206 people tested positive for the deadly virus on Tuesday. The Information and Public Relations Department (I&PR Dept.) Government of Odisha declared the list, in which the town of Malkangiri reported highest — 36 — cases of the COVID-19.

Jajpur was the second most infected Odisha city on Tuesday as it reported 28 cases out of 206. Koraput was third in the list with 18 positive cases, while Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur ranked joint-fourth with 17 cases each. Bolangir and Deogarh recorded 16 and 15 cases respectively.

As per the I&PR Dept., 192 positive cases were reported from the quarantine zones, while the rest 14 cases were figured out with information collected from the local contacts.

As per reports, the 206 cases include one NDRF or ODRAF personnel who had returned from Amphan, West Bengal, after completing his national duty.
