Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide sent shockwaves across the country. His death also brought to the forefront ‘the insider vs outsider’ debate. Netizens have been slamming Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan and others who allegedly hold the power in the showbiz industry. Now a case has been filed against eight influential figures of Bollywood including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan and Ekta Kapoor in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur. As per reports, the case has been filed by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha.

“I have filed a case against 8 people including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan & Ekta Kapoor under Sections 306, 109, 504 & 506 of IPC in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide in a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Sudhir Kumar Ojha told news agency ANI.

“In the complaint, I have alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was removed from around seven films and some of his films were not released. Such a situation was created which forced him to take the extreme step,” he added.

Reacting to the news, producer Ekta Kapoor who launched Sushant with her 2008 show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil took to her Instagram handle. “Thanku for the case for not casting sushi….when Actually I LAUNCHED HIM. I’m beyond upset at how convoluted theories can b! Pls@let family n frns mourn in peace! Truth shall@prevail. CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!”
